Day 1

Welcome to Darwin

Darwin has grown from a relaxed frontier town to a modern, cosmopolitan city, though it still retains its laid-back charm. With its abundance of accommodations, dining options, clubs, pubs, and cultural attractions, Darwin offers a surprising array of amenities that rival southern cities. Located closer to Singapore than Sydney, Darwin boasts a multicultural atmosphere and a delightful climate.

While the city has modern architecture, it still preserves the feel of a frontier town with its small-town vibe.

Visit Crocosaurus Cove
After settling into your hotel, head to Crocosaurus Cove to meet some of the region's most unique inhabitants. With your VIP Pass, you’ll have the opportunity to hold a baby crocodile, join a feeding session, or watch Australia’s largest saltwater crocodiles in action.

In the evening, relax at the Deckchair Cinema, enjoy a sunset over the Timor Sea, or sample street food at the Mindil Beach Markets. Before long, you'll feel like a local.
