Australian Sky provide a fantastic range of motorhomes to choose from, from the compact yet comfortable vehicles sleeping up to three people to the six-berth homes with plenty of space for larger families or groups, so you can tailor your accommodation to suit your needs. And the home comforts, from a kitchen and entertainment system to comfortable bedding, are all included for a relaxed and stress-free stay. While you’re here, be sure to enhance your motorhome experience with some added extras such as hiring mountain bikes to admire the scenery from a new perspective or downloading the travel app to ensure you don’t miss any fascinating points of interest.
Cascade:
Perfect for small families or a group of friends, this campervan has everything you need to ensure a comfortable journey – including small luxuries like a coffee plunger and wine glasses, as well as a built in BBQ, DVD Player, and a personal safe.

Ideal for couples looking for plenty of space and comfort. Featuring one double or two single beds, the standard fridge, microwave and gas stove with kitchen utensils, a shower and a toilet.

Discovery:
A popular choice for small groups, these campervans are pretty nifty with their dining area that converts into a double bed, and a drop-down double bed above it. Though it doesn’t have a microwave, it does have a gas stove and fridge. The fixed awning offers a bit of shade if you fancy eating al fresco.

Explorer:
A spacious campervan ideal for families or two couples. Enjoy dining together in the mini-kitchen, and relish the luxury of your own bathroom. These campervans have two double beds, a microwave, fridge and gas stove, with a flat screen TV and DVD player.

Frontier:
These large and spacious campervans can comfortably sleep up to six people – you can even have two beds permanently set up thanks to the flexible sleeping options. Wake up in the morning to gorgeous views from the large back windows.

Premium Motorhomes Fleet:
Australian Sky offers a great selection of high quality motorhomes which provide a freeing form of travel with a sophisticated take on camping in Australia. Each of these homes is spacious, fully-equipped and has an innovative design to provide the utmost in comfort. From wooden floors to large living areas and BBQ facilities, everything has been considered to provide you with a home-from-home feel while you’re on the road.
And if you want to make full use of your time here, there’s the option to include experiences such as visiting wineries, pre-ordering grocery boxes to take the stress out of your stay, and choosing from a range of indigenous tourism experiences.
All of these homes provide plush sleeping facilities, spacious living areas, and kitchens with plenty of storage.
Ultima Campervan:
This campervan features a king-size or twin beds,roomy living area, kitchen facilities, solar panel, storage and an exterior slide-out BBQ.

Rental Duration
Your rental days are calculated on a calendar day basis – the day of pick-up is counted as day one, whilst the day of returning your vehicle is counted as the final day. There is a minimum rental period of five days, though all rentals between late December and early January have a minimum of 10 days. If travelling in Melbourne over the Moto GP period, you will need to travel for a minimum of seven days.
Your vehicle must be returned with a tank full of petrol and in clean condition.
Personal Kit
When renting with Maui, you will receive a complimentary travel wallet. This wallet features a free road map featuring Australia’s leading attractions, a ‘What to See and Do’ guide, and a hotel/campground guide. You’ll be provided with apartment-styled kitchen equipment, including saucepans and crockery, as well as quality bedding and linen, and a complimentary valet service.
One-Way Rentals
One-way rentals are available between all branch locations.
A fee applies for select locations:
- Pick-up/return from Cairns, Brisbane, Ballina Airport/Byron Bay, Sydney Melbourne, Hobart or Adelaide: AU$280
- Pick-up/return from Darwin, Broome, Alice Springs or Perth: AU$380
Insurance
You’ll have a variety of insurance options to choose from to help make your adventure stress-free and enjoyable. You’ll need to bring a copy of your travel insurance with you, as well as an international driver’s licence which should be produced upon vehicle collection.
Deposit
The deposit amount is determined by the Liability Reduction Option chosen, or AU$7,500 if you don’t choose any of the options. All deposits are charged to debit card and will be refunded only if the vehicle is returned on time in an undamaged, clean condition, and with a full tank of fuel.
