Tropical Reef and Rainforest

Day 1

Port Douglas

Upon arrival into Cairns Airport, head to your hotel in Port Douglas. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the sights at leisure.

Day 2

Daintree National Park

Start the day with a painting class at Janbal Gallery where you'll learn how stories are told through the aboriginal paintings. Join us on a journey through Shannonvale Valley to Mossman Gorge, and learn about the ancient Aboriginal "highways" that ran through the region. At Mossman Gorge Centre, you will be greeted with a traditional smoking ceremony, followed by a delicious lunch next to the rainforest. Enjoy a guided tour of the World Heritage listed Daintree National Park experiencing the ecosystem of one of the world’s oldest rainforests. Your Aboriginal guide will explain the rich flora and fauna of this diverse environment, as well as share history and stories of the Kuku Yalanji culture.

Day 3

Great Barrier Reef Cruise

Today offers up an experience of a lifetime – a cruise to the Agincourt Reef at the very edge of Australia’s Continental Shelf. This spectacular ribbon reef is a striking kaleidoscope of colours, marine life and unforgettable vistas. Here, you can dive, snorkel or simply admire the reef from the comfort of the semi-submersible craft. You will have the opportunity to watch the fish feeding from the unique underwater viewing platform and underwater observatory, before dining on a delicious tropical lunch buffet before returning to Port Douglas.

Day 4

Port Douglas

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
